LOS ANGELES , April 15, 2025 (press release) –

Intelligent City, a Vancouver-based company specializing in prefab mass timber building systems, has begun production on a nine‐story residential building in Toronto’s west-end. This project will become Toronto’s tallest mass timber residential building. Advanced automation using robotics and AI is set to reduce the construction timeline by three to four months, cutting down on on-site disruption and furthering sustainable, low-carbon housing initiatives. The building will feature 58 market-rate rental units and two replacement rental dwelling rooms offering long-term affordable options, and its construction will be largely off-site at Intelligent City’s Delta, B.C. facility.
