INDA has released the three finalists for its 2022 WOW Innovation Award, which will be presented June 30 at the World of Wipes International Conference in Chicago, Nonwovens Industry reported on May 11.
One finalist is Nice-Pak’s Nice ’N Clean SecureFLUSH Flushable Wipes. The wipes are comprised of 100% cellulose nonwovens, and they can break apart in water five times faster than leading brands of toilet paper. The company’s patent-pending technology and “lock-and-key” design ensures the wipes are both strong and durable, yet won’t clog pipes nor persist in wastewater.
The other two finalists are Fitesa’s Dual Textured 3D Wipe and Bast Fibre Technologies’ Sero Hemp Fibers.
