Witnessed by Yu Yong and Xiao Xong, Mr.Li Yiren and Wang Haibin Signed the MOU. The parties will jointly explore new ways in the green and low carbon development of metallurgical industry. Siemens will promote the applications of Modelling technologies in procedure engineering in HBIS WisCarbon Carbon Neutralization & Digitization Project. Also, the partners will jointly develop tools in energy system analysis and valuation  their optimizations to further reduce the energy consumption in the whole process of metal production to make a showpiece project in full process carbon footprint, digitized management of carbon data. Base on existing Siemens digital Commerce platform, Xcelerator, the partners will expand their cooperation in the upgrade of steel products, digitized factory, scientific operation, digitized enterprise management, the development of additive manufacturing and applications. With the latest MOU in place, joint project teams will be in operation and building an efficient communication regime to implement R&D projects.

In 2016, HBIS and Siemens sign the Strategic Cooperation Agreement to deepen their cooperation in digitized factory, intelligent manufacturing, industry & physical internet. In 2019, they signed a strategic agreement in additive manufacturing technologies and their applications in industry, which was a material milestone in additive manufacturing. From unmanned stockyard of Tangsteel new plant to the rolling machines in HBIS Heng Strip Plant, to the top designs and the preemptive equipment maintenance project in HBIS Shisteel,  HBIS and Siemens are jointly making more and more successes.
