H-E-B unveiled the renovations it made to its Burnet H‑E‑B in Central Texas, which includes upgraded departments and larger product assortment.
The more than 43,000-square-foot store offers more to the Hill Country community with renovations, upgrades, and an enhanced design to the store’s exterior, plus interior updates with new finishes, signage, lighting, equipment, and fixtures.
In addition to updating some of the store’s existing departments and services, the store now has upgraded and new departments such as:
- New Sushiya Sushi department with handmade sushi selections made in-store daily
- New Meal Simple department
- New Seafood department with service counter
- New Self-checkout area
- New Curbside department
- New Bakery department with Tortilleria for fresh tortillas made in house, a wide selection of artisan breads made daily, and large varieties of desserts, pastries, and cakes
- Produce department with the freshest fruits and vegetables including organics, and fresh juice made in-store
- Sliced the way you like it meats and cheeses from the expanded Deli department along with a variety of specialty cheeses and dry goods
- Floral department with an array of products and services for all your special occasions
- As the #1 beer and wine retailer in Texas, expanded assortment of craft beer and wines from around the world
- Expanded Dairy and Frozen departments
- New Healthy living department with bulk food items, supplements, and more
- New Texas Backyard with full assortment of trees, plants, pots, and accessories
- Expanded Pharmacy with drive-thru and Wellness Room with expert prescription care, immunizations, and health screenings

Renovations on the store began in October 2022, and the store remained open during the renovation process. The Burnet H-E-B has served the community since 1976.
Through its Spirit of Giving philosophy, H-E-B is passionately dedicated to its customers beyond its stores. To commemorate the occasion, H-E-B gifted local nonprofits a total of $15,000 with donations of $5,000 each to the Boys & Girls Club of Burnet, Burnet High School Resource Center, and Lakes Area Care Food Pantry.
The Burnet H‑E‑B is open seven days a week from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. and is located at 105 S Boundary in Burnet.
