The German company emtec Electronic GmbH will participating with its partner IDMtest as an exhibitor at SPAPER 2025, which is set to take place from March 4–6, 2025, at Feria de Zaragoza, Spain. The shown laboratory devices, used in the wet-end area and for base and final paper products, are said to focus on efficiency, precision, and sustainability, helping to optimize production processes.
Presented by Philipp Sievers, the Sales Area Manager for Spain from emtec Electronic, the testing instruments will be shown at the IDMtest booth no. A‑B 21‑22 to the paper industry. Among the devices showcased will be compact and portable solutions for analyzing key parameters in paper production like the CAS touch! Charge Analyzing System and FPA touch! Fiber Potential Analyzer. These instruments reportedly help optimize chemical dosing in the wet-end by measuring particle charge and zeta potential, leading to improved process efficiency and reduced reject. Another innovation to be featured is the ACA Ash Content Analyzer, which provides a fast, non-destructive measurement of mineral filler content, offering a precise and energy-efficient alternative to the traditional combustion method. Additionally, the EST Surface & Sizing Tester enables an accurate assessment of surface sizing and porosity, helping to predict the gluability, printability, and coatability of paper and board. All shown instruments support manufacturers in improving product quality while minimizing resources and energy consumption.
