Helen O’Bryant joined Drytac in January 1995 and has played a major part in the company’s growth and success over the past 30 years
Helen O’Bryant, one of the longest serving members of the Drytac North America team, is celebrating an impressive 30 years with the company.
Helen joined Drytac back in January 1995 when the company operated out of a single warehouse in Virginia. Throughout her time with Drytac, Helen has worked in various roles, including customer service, inventory, purchasing, account receivables, sales, and even in the warehouse, pulling orders when required.
Now serving as Purchasing Manager, Helen also offers customer service support in the Mid and Southwest US and oversees accounts in the US.
“Our job descriptions often include ‘other duties as needed,’ which has given me the opportunity to contribute to many different areas and learn a lot along the way,” Helen said.
Helen attributed her long tenure with the company to the strong sense of community within the Drytac team, describing it as being part of a wider family where everyone works together, supports one another, and shares a common goal.
This, Helen said, is a major part of why the company has, and continues to be, so successful.
“During my time here, I have seen Drytac grow from a small, one-warehouse operation, distributing laminating films, adhesives and equipment, to become a highly regarded international manufacturer that now sells its products to customers around the world,” Helen said.
When asked about her biggest achievement, Helen does not have one stand-out success. “I am happiest when I am able to pull out all the stops, think outside the box and find a solution for our customers,” she explained.
