LOS ANGELES , March 28, 2024 (press release) –

The Port of Baltimore has indefinitely suspended vessel traffic, prompting major carriers like CMA CGM to issue Force Majeure notices, affecting exports and cargo rerouting. Salvage operations for the stranded vessel Dali, carrying hazardous and non-hazardous goods, may prolong supply chain disruptions, with estimates suggesting the port's reopening in May.
