Cengage CEO Michael Hansen released the following statement on the introductions of “A Stronger Workforce for America Act” and the “Bipartisan Workforce Pell Act”:

Importantly, these bills focus on key factors that promote multiple learning pathways, including:
- Advancing flexible and innovative approaches to learning that provide individuals with more options when it comes to where and how they learn,
- Making skills education more affordable and accessible to all learners, and
- Focusing on quality learning, and importantly, measuring outcomes.
