Balancing growth and control
With more than 30 years in the industry, Aztec Label has grown steadily, while keeping full control of its operations. The recent acquisition of an additional production unit across the road from their existing 19,000 sq ft site is a clear sign of confidence in the market and in their ability to deliver faster lead times, improved flexibility, and more sustainable solutions.
Owner and Managing Director Colin Le Gresley explains:

The next generation – building on experience
One of the most inspiring aspects of Aztec’s recent evolution is the involvement of Colin’s three sons: Oliver (26), and twins, James and Daniel (24). All three have taken active roles in the business – a move that not only supports succession planning, but brings new ideas and energy into daily operations. All of them have progressed through the system, covering production, pre-press, repro and plate making, finishing, despatch, and now more recently administrative roles. Adding to this strong family involvement, Colin’s wife, Sharon, also plays a key part in the company as Director, responsible for handling all their accounts – ensuring solid financial management and continuity at the heart of the business.
“Having my sons join the business is something I’m extremely proud of,” Colin says. “They’re learning the ropes, asking the right questions, and bringing in fresh thinking – while respecting the values we’ve built the company on.”
