Supermarket Aldi has announced the much-anticipated return of its premium Swiss chocolate Specially Selected Swiss Mountain Bars and this time they’re also available in a new smaller size (£1.49, 100g), perfect for a festive treat. Shoppers on the Aldi Shoppers UK Facebook Group have previously said the bar ‘tastes EXACTLY the same’[1] as the Christmas favourite, Toblerone. In stores now.
The Mountain Bar will now be available in two delicious NEW flavours, Blonde Chocolate and Milk Chocolate Fruit & Nut, along with the returning classic Milk Chocolate. The premium quality, Fairtrade Swiss chocolate is made up of a delicious chewy honey and almond nougat – the new Blonde flavour boasts sweet white chocolate while the new Fruit & Nut variant contains crunchy nut and tangy, dried fruit pieces.
Returning for 2023, the beloved bar comes in its original larger size (£3.79, 400g) perfect for sharing with the whole family or gifting the ultimate stocking filling and also comes in all three flavours. What’s more, it’s 24% cheaper[2] than the Toblerone alternative! Available from 19th November.
Aldi’s Specially Selected Swiss Mountain Bar, and extensive Christmas confectionary range can be found in store from now until Christmas.
