The joint venture will initially have a fleet of more than 100 smart driving heavy trucks and will continue to expand in the future to provide safer, more efficient and lower-cost capacity services and freight solutions, Pony.ai said in a statement last year. The two companies have now jointly committed more than 100 trucks to begin container shipping operations, Pony.ai's statement said today. Building on Pony.ai's experience in self-driving technology and smart logistics platforms, Cyantron has put L4 self-driving trucks into service, the company said.
