Honda Statement on Agreement Between United States and Japan to Strengthen EV Battery Critical Minerals Supply Chains

Sample article from our Logistic & Supply Chain

March 28, 2023 (press release) –

We welcome the agreement between the United States and Japan to strengthen mineral supply chains that are critical to electric vehicles. Honda continues to localize and bolster our EV battery supply chain as we work to fulfill our vision of 100% electric vehicle sales by 2040. To reach this goal, it is essential to have a robust and resilient EV supply chain that includes access to critical minerals for EV battery components and materials.

We look forward to reviewing the agreement in detail, and we support the Administration’s efforts to partner with strong allies as we work collectively to accelerate EV adoption.
