Thirty-eight percent of respondents said they were very likely to support the Ohio Clean Energy Initiative, which would mandate investing US$1.3 billion per year in green energy for 10 years, in the November 2014 election, according to a poll of 884 Ohio voters conducted by Public Policy Polling (PPP) in December.
An additional 26% of respondents said they were somewhat likely to support it.
Only 29% of respondents felt they were not too likely or not at all likely to support it, while 7% reported that they were unsure how they would vote on the measure.
In addition, 45% of people said they were very likely to support legislation that allows Ohio to invest in clean technology, while 26% said that they were somewhat likely.
