ALISO VIEJO, California , November 25, 2013 (press release) – Two new locations on the southern tip of South America slated to open over next few months

On November 7, 2013, Johnny Rockets franchise partner Felipe Infante opened his third Chilean restaurant in Concepcion Trebol Mall, the first of three new Johnny Rockets he is scheduled to open in Chile over the next several months. With the exception of the brand's presence on Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, the Concepcion Trebol Mall brings the Johnny Rockets brand to a new global level, opening its most southern land-based location in the world.

The 1,506-square-foot restaurant boasts 1,324 square-feet of terrace space and brings 60 new jobs to the area. In keeping with the Johnny Rockets' mission, the Concepcion Trebol Mall location offers the flavorful food, friendly service and fun ambiance that impressed Infante when he first visited Johnny Rockets restaurants in Miami. His initial location in Santiago's Lo Barnechea neighborhood, in July 2010, infused Chilean flavors and taste preferences, such as adding avocado to hamburgers and sandwiches into the classic menu of American favorites. Local residents and area visitors quickly embraced the dancing servers, upbeat music and twirled straws which have been associated with the iconic brand since 1986, prompting the opening of a restaurant at the upscale Alto Las Condes shopping complex two years later.

"We're thrilled to have Felipe as a dedicated partner and passionate believer in the Johnny Rockets brand," said John Fuller, CEO of Johnny Rockets. "With five locations scheduled throughout the country, he has not only bolstered his presence in Chile – he's helped pave the way for our South American expansion into key markets such as Peru and Ecuador."

The Johnny Rockets at Concepcion Trebol Mall joins more than 300 stores, restaurants and services at this two-level urban shopping center in Talcahuano, Greater Concepcion. Infante projects to open a 2,906-square-foot location debuting at Costanera Center, Santiago's largest shopping mall that counts Ripley, Paris, Falabella and Jumbo supermarket among its vast tenant roster. Adding to his already impressive portfolio, Infante will open a fifth Johnny Rockets at Mall Plaza Egana, Chile's first sustainable mall that offers more than 150 stores, an AutoPlaza and the country's first IMAX theater.
