Palm Paper Ltd in King’s Lynn has successfully been audited according to the DIN EN ISO 50001:2011 regulations. This standard was attained in 2012 by the three Palm German paper mills located in Aalen, Eltmann and Wörth.
Energy Management at Palm has become an integral part of the management system and having already achieved the standards ISO9001 Quality, ISO14001 Environment and ISO18001 Health and Safety this now completes the programme. It has been an outstanding team effort from the King’s Lynn staff to accomplish the certification process.
The efficient use of energy during paper manufacture is required as part of the company's own commitment to act responsibly in respect of the use of finite fossil fuel stocks as well as the sustainable achievement of European climate protection targets.
The efficient use of all energy sources deployed at Papierfabrik Palm also makes a contribution to the longterm and sustainable improvement of our competitiveness.
