LONDON , December 13, 2012 () – Dow Chemical Co has launched new materials for use in flexible packaging production. Adcote L 76-185/CR 8111B, a solvent-based polyethylene adhesive, is intended for high temperature laminates. Dow's Agility processing accelerator resins are developed to substitute for conventional low density polyethylene (LDPE) resins in heavy-duty shipping sacks and in flexible packaging that require clarity and transparency. Two new additions to Dow's Dowlex linear LDPE range are XUS 61539.501 and XUS 61530.502, which are developed for use in blown films.
