DKSH to handle Hershey's operations in Malaysia including sales, distribution, trade marketing, merchandising, logistics services, effective June 1

– DKSH, the leader in Market Expansion Services with a focus on Asia, will provide sales, distribution, trade marketing, merchandising, and logistics services to Hershey’s, the leading North American manufacturer of quality chocolate, non-chocolate confectionery, and chocolate-related grocery products, to support Hershey’s market expansion in Malaysia.
Having collaborated successfully for many years with a number of leading confectionery brands, DKSH has recently sealed the deal with Hershey’s to provide sales, distribution, trade marketing, merchandising, and logistics services for its range of chocolates such as Hershey’s Kisses, chocolate bars, nuggets, and pearls, chocolate-related grocery products as well as Bubble Yum gum in Malaysia.
The collaboration, commencing June 1, 2012, is an extension of DKSH’s recent partnership with Hershey’s in Singapore to reach out to the highly promising market in South East Asia. Hershey’s will leverage on DKSH’s extensive capillary distribution network to expand into all sales channels such as modern and general trades, convenience stores, petrol kiosks, pharmacies and other related channels throughout Malaysia and Brunei.
