Ingram's e-textbook platform VitalSource to manage, distribute digital textbooks for DeVry University; platform currently has 1.6 million registered users on 6,000 campuses in 180 countries

– Ingram’s e-textbook platform VitalSource® selected by DeVry University to support online learning curricula in North America.
Vital Source Technologies, Inc., Ingram Content Group’s leading e-textbook solution for publishers, academic institutions, and students, today announced an agreement to provide e-textbook management and distribution for DeVry University, one of North America’s largest higher education institutions for technology, science, business and the arts.

The VitalSource platform, with 1.6 million registered users and a presence on 6,000 campuses in 180 countries, will provide comprehensive content distribution for all textbooks used by DeVry University online students. The VitalSource solution will be integrated with the university’s learning management system, eCollege, for its global community. Using the platform, students and faculty will be able to easily access content via download, online or mobile options including popular iPad™, iPhone®, and iPod Touch® devices.
