AKRON, Ohio , October 11, 2013 (press release) – At Pack Expo 2013, Placon announced that it will introduce three new product lines by 2014, with focus on recyclability. Placon operates EcoStar Plastics, which recycles and manufactures post-consumer recycled PET bottles and thermoforms. Placon launched Crystal Seal tamper-evident PET thermoformed food containers, which are 100% recyclable that helps minimise food tampering potential, in May 2013.
