US farmers buy more than 11,163 tractors in January, up 20.3% year-over-year, industry group says

LOS ANGELES , February 13, 2013 () – According to the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), U.S. farmers bought more than 11,163 tractors in January, up 20.3% year-over-year, the Associated Press reported Feb. 13. 

Sales of combines were up nearly 21% to 538 sold in January, the AEM added.
