Firefighters extinguish blaze at FutureMark Paper Mill in Manistique, Michigan, on Nov. 30; fire involves about 900 bales of paper, no injuries reported

LOS ANGELES , November 30, 2012 () – Firefighters put out a paper bale fire at FutureMark Paper Mill in Manistique, Michigan, on Nov. 30, the Daily Press reported on the same day.

The blaze involved about 900 bales of paper that caught fire in a large storage pile located outside of the mill, said Public Safety Director Ken Golat.

No injuries were reported.

According to the company’s website, FutureMark’s Manistique mill produces uncoated recycled paper.
