By extensive reconstruction of our paper machine no. 4 into a multi-product machine Varel's paper makers have enlarged their options in fibre preparation and product design. Even if today's product portfolio in grey and brown grades is already considerable, it will be added by further products in well-known Varel quality within the next months.
In recent weeks various tests with our new grade JadeKraft were made. Main features of this new brown liner is, as all other paper products of our mill, superb runnability on modern corrugators as well as strong stiffness as basis for high BCT-values of corrugated boxes.
JadeKraft has premium-quality virgin fibres in its top layer, which are a natural pre-condition for its perfect visual appearance. By installing a softnip-calender we further more could increase the surface and appearance as well as the printability.
JadeKraft is produced within a grammage range of 120-185gsm and is already part of our standard production program. If you are interested in further details of JadeKraft, please contact us. We will then provide you with further information about this product.
More new developed products for the corrugating industry are already planned and we are looking forward to present you our new JadeWhite grades within short.
