Anomatic to open US$11 million, 83,000 sq.-ft. anodizing production plant in New Albany, Ohio, creating 185 jobs; facility to be partly subsidized by US$100,000 grant from Columbia Gas in recognition of Anomatic's sustainability efforts

NEWARK, Ohio , May 14, 2012 (press release) – Anomatic Corporation, known for their unique, high volume metal packaging and custom anodizing process for the medical, pharmaceutical, personal care and cosmetic packaging industries, is expanding operations with a brand new facility in New Albany, Ohio. Anomatic will join others at The Personal Care and Beauty Campus in the New Albany Business Park. Anomatic will open a 83,000 square-foot anodizing production facility with an investment of 11 million dollars for new facilities and equipment. The company will create approximately 185 new positions in the first three years of operation.

Businesses worldwide are taking note, and this campus has brought more than 1,000 new jobs to our region and our state in the last year alone.”

Columbia Gas has identified Anomatic’s sustainability efforts and in support has granted $100,000 to the New Albany Expansion. "We're proud of the partnership we've forged with the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio and the other groups who help administer the fund. This exciting announcement demonstrates how the partnership is helping to deliver measurable, sustainable economic benefit to the region and ultimately the entire state."
