LOS ANGELES , March 8, 2012 () – McDonald’s Holdings Co. in Japan saw its first decline in same-store sales since last August, reporting that such sales fell 1.2% year-over-year in February, MarketWatch reported March 8.

The company said that the number of customer visits at existing stores rose 3.4% amid promotional campaigns such as its “Big America” burger series.
