Tesco launches range of feminine hygiene products called Halo; 14-product range will comprise towels, panty liners, tampons that will be priced lower than competition

LOS ANGELES , February 16, 2012 () – Tesco Plc has launched its own range of feminine hygiene products called Halo, The Grocer reported Feb. 16.

The range will include 14 products, comprising towels, panty liners and tampons and will sell for lower than competitor's prices.

For every product sold, fifteen pence will be donated to the Halo Initiative, which will distribute money to charities focused on women and women's health, The Grocer reported.
