Sara Lee Corp. and its South Dakota branch Bimbo Bakeries USA Inc. settled out of court with a former employee, Richard Stewart, who claimed wrongful termination, the Mitchell Republic reported on Jan. 23.
Stewart, who worked at Sara Lee for 25 years, claimed he was wrongfully terminated due to a permanent eye condition. Stewart did not reveal any specifics about the settlement he received.
The complaint has officially been dismissed.
