The University of Georgia is hosting a daylong conference on international energy security featuring the head of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
The Feb. 3 conference aims to address international energy governance issues, regulatory law for renewable energy, nuclear safety law and nuclear waste legal regimes. Commissioner William C. Ostendorff of the NRC will deliver the keynote address.
The conference will be held in the Larry Walker Room of Dean Rusk Hall starting at 8:30 a.m. It is free and open to the public.
