LOGAN, Utah , December 16, 2011 () – A Utah newspaper is announcing it will no longer print a Monday edition.

Logan Herald Journal Publisher Mike Starn said the newspaper will print its final Monday edition on Dec. 26.

Starn says the revenue generated from the Monday paper does not cover production and distribution costs.

He says the other weekdays are more popular among advertisers and readers.

The northern Utah newspaper will continue to publish news on its website seven days a week.

The Herald Journal is Utah's sixth-largest newspaper. It has been a seven-day newspaper for the past 12 years of its 102-year history.

Newspapers across the nation are struggling financially as advertisers and subscribers turn to the internet.
