LOS ANGELES , December 16, 2011 () – A spokeswoman for Cargill said the company is cutting 125 jobs in its energy, transport and metals global operation desks, as well as making some internal structural changes to facilitate long-term growth in these sectors, Dow Jones Newswires reported Dec. 16.

The layoffs will be made worldwide, the spokeswoman said. She declined to name the people involved in the changes.
