LOS ANGELES , November 11, 2011 () – Cartier Val Posina SRL’s idled Italian mill that makes wrapping paper for the food industry might resume production with the backing of two new investors, reported EUWID-Paper on Nov. 11.

Esperia and Fuggion are interested in restarting the mill under the new name Progetto Carta, said a spokesperson for the Italian General Confederation of Labor’s communications workers union.

The investors plan to come up with a business plan within two to three weeks, the spokesperson added.

Italy-based Cartiera Val Posina, which is facing financial troubles, temporarily laid off its workers at the beginning of July, EUWID reported
