Temkin’s modified atmosphere packaging technology is now available in single layer wicketed bags, enabling customers to extend the shelf life of additional produce items.
With optional hermetic seals and patented laser microperforation technology, Temkin’s wicketed bags can effectively and affordably extend the shelf life of fresh produce. Temkin Sales Manager, Joe Bradford, said, “It is great to expand our product line by adding a product such as this.”

In addition to featuring optional hermetic seals and laser microperforation, Temkin’s new wicketed bags can be custom tailored to include zippers, bottom gussets, and a variety of wicket styles, providing added convenience and value. The benefits of Temkin’s laser microperforation technology (in partnership with Windham Packaging, LLC) were previously only available through the use of high-barrier laminated films.
