CHICAGO , September 29, 2011 () – Grains futures rose Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery rose 15.50 cents to $6.5425 a bushel; December corn rose 1.75 cent to $6.3250 a bushel; December oats added 3.50 cents to $3.33 a bushel; while November soybeans rose 6.50 cents to $12.30 a bushel.

Beef futures and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle rose 0.40 cent to $1.2125 a pound; November feeder cattle fell 0.02 cent to $1.4190 a pound; and December lean hogs added 2.50 cents to 85.97 cents a pound.
