LOS ANGELES , June 21, 2011 () – When it comes to the homebuilding industry and measuring relative performance to find the top stocks, KB Home topped the list with a gain of 2.82%, reported the Financial News Network Online June 21.

Toll Brothers Inc. ranked second, with a gain of 1.50%, and PulteGroup followed closely behind in third place, with a gain of 1.39%.

MDC Holdings ranked fourth, with a gain of 1.36%, and D.R. Horton Inc. came in fifth, with a gain of 1.26%, according to FNNO.

The numbers were based on price action of all companies in the homebuilding peer group on June 20, according to FNNO. Relative outperformance, according to FNNO, is a bullish sign of underlying fundamental and technical strength.
