CHICAGO , March 25, 2011 (press release) – United Continental Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: UAL) today announced daily nonstop service between San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Guadalajara, Mexico (GDL), beginning June 9, 2011, subject to Mexican government approval. The new service will be operated by Continental Airlines.

"United continues to offer more departures from the U.S. to Mexico than any other airline," said John Slater, United's Vice President Sales - Americas. "The new service complements our existing flights to Guadalajara from Houston and our new Los Angeles - Guadalajara nonstop service beginning May 3, which we announced in January."

Flight 662 will depart San Francisco at 11:55 p.m. daily, arriving in Guadalajara at 5:35 a.m. the following day. The return flight (661) will depart Guadalajara at 7:00 a.m. daily, arriving in San Francisco at 9:00 a.m. the same day. The San Francisco - Guadalajara service will be operated with a Boeing 737-800 aircraft, with seating for 160 customers (16 in first class and 144 in economy).

Continental serves 30 destinations in Mexico, more than any other airline from the U.S.
