WCI Communities announces sale of its interest in hotel formerly known as Regent Bal Harbour

BONITA SPRINGS, Florida , June 22, 2009 (press release) – WCI Communities, Inc. (Pink Sheets:WCIMQ - News) announced today that it has sold its interest in the hotel formerly known as Regent Bal Harbour. “This is consistent with our historical plan which, from inception, has been to develop and sell our interest in the hotel,” stated David L. Fry, Interim President and Chief Executive Officer.

“We congratulate Elevation Communities, LLC on their purchase of this trophy property,” continued Mr. Fry.
