“The ZIP System products provide innovative alternatives to structural panel and housewrap/felt systems that save builders time while providing superior moisture management and a tighter building envelope,” said Brent Flotkoetter, ZIP System product manager at Huber Engineered Woods. “Since the system is so different from other wall and roof products on the market, JLC LIVE is a great opportunity for residential builders to learn more about the ZIP System products through practical applications that effectively demonstrate how they can make their job faster and easier.”

ZIP System structural roof and wall panels with built-in protective barriers and specially designed ZIP System™ tape provide an innovative solution that eliminates housewrap and felt and save the builder time while yielding superior moisture management and a continuous air barrier for walls. Simply install the panels, tape the seams and you are done. Both systems are durable and will not tear or rip, resulting in the elimination of costly rework for the builder. ZIP System roof is a structural roof panel and code recognized underlayment all-in-one on which shingles can be directly applied. The ZIP System wall sheathing is a code recognized structural wall panel, moisture barrier and air barrier all-in-one. The ZIP System tape can help reduce air leaks as recommended by ENERGY STAR® Seal and Insulate Effort and is code recognized as window and door flashing tape when used with the ZIP System wall sheathing. Both ZIP System wall and roof panels provide a 120 day exposure guarantee and are backed by the Huber Engineered Woods limited 15-year system and 30-year panel warranties.

AdvanTech flooring and sheathing are engineered for superior strength, moisture resistance and unsurpassed quality. A combination of innovative resin technology and manufacturer engineering makes this product unique in the field of structural panels. The AdvanTech brand is introducing new panel graphics designed with the following improvements: an SFI logo to showcase Huber’s environmental commitment, a new fastening guide for easier installation, bi-lingual instructions to ensure 1/8-inch gapping between panels, and an improved tongue and groove design for a better fit along the edge. The flooring is available in 19/32-inch, 23/32-inch, 7/8-inch, 1-inch and 1 1/8-inch thicknesses. AdvanTech flooring and sheathing are backed by the Huber Engineered Woods 50- year transferrable warranty.
