European Parliament’s spokespersons will hold a last-minute briefing on the 16 - 19 September plenary session today at 16.30.

When: Monday 16 September at 16.30

Where: Daphne Caruana Galizia Press room and via Interactio

Key topics this week include:

• Address by Mario Draghi on his competitiveness report, followed by a debate;

• War against Ukraine: debate and vote on a resolution;

• Debate on the war in the Gaza Strip and the situation in the Middle East;

• Hungarian residence permits: debate with the Commission and Council;

• Debate on Council’s position on next year’s EU budget;

• Situation in Venezuela: debate and vote on a resolution.

Interpretation of the press briefing will be available in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Polish.
