On 15 July 2024, the Council adopted Decision (CFSP) 2024/19701 amending Decision (CFSP) 2023/1532 concerning restrictive measures in view of Iran’s military support to Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine and to armed groups and entities in the Middle The Council decided that the restrictive measures should be extended until 27 July 2025, and the entries concerning four persons and two entities listed in the Annex to Decision (CFSP) 2023/1532 should be updated. Moreover, the Council decided to clarify existing derogation under Article 3(8) of Decision (CFSP) 2023/1532. The candidate countries North Macedonia, Montenegro, Albania, Ukraine, Republic of Moldova and Bosnia and Herzegovina2, as well as the EFTA countries Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, members of the European Economic Area, align themselves with this Council Decision. They will ensure that their national policies conform to this Decision.
