Today, The New York Times unveiled the lineup of speakers for Climate Forward, a one-day event to be held at The Times Center in New York City on Wednesday, Sept. 25.

Now in its fifth year, and coinciding with the 79th session of the United Nations (U.N) General Assembly, Climate Forward promises to be an immersive and dynamic experience for both in-person and virtual attendees. With a focus on networking and connection, this full-day event will feature live journalism hosted by leading climate and political journalists from The New York Times, onstage discussions that invite audience input and one-on-one in-depth interviews with prominent newsmakers including: E.P.A. administrator Michael S. Regan, philanthropist and U.N. messenger of peace Dr. Jane Goodall, North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper and chief adviser of the government of Bangladesh and Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus.
