Ceres to host investors and market leaders at Climate Week NYC 2024; event on September 25-26 at The Nest Climate Campus will feature roundtables on high-emitting sectors, climate disclosure, and investment expectations

May 29, 2024 (press release) –

Ceres returns to Climate Week NYC in 2024, the largest annual global climate event of its kind, to offer a bold vision and expanded programming to inspire investors and companies to drive new solutions and accelerate action.

The centerpiece of Ceres at Climate Week NYC 2024 is a two-day event at the Nest Climate Campus featuring a mainstage program and more than a dozen roundtables and sessions. Topics will cover best practices for transition planning in high-emitting sectors, the evolving climate disclosure landscape, Paris-aligned responsible policy engagement, investor expectations for water and nature stewardship, and much more. Participants will explore the business challenges and opportunities in the shift to a cleaner, more just, and sustainable economy.

“The convening comes at a critical juncture for the economy and the planet. The climate crisis, water scarcity and pollution, and nature and biodiversity loss pose growing financial risks to investment portfolios, business operations, supply chains, and the long-term stability of economies and markets,” said Ceres CEO and President Mindy Lubber. “At Ceres at Climate Week, we will call for the urgent private sector action needed across the highest-emitting industries and the government action required at every level to limit global temperature rise in line with the goals of the Paris Agreement and avoid more catastrophic climate change.”

The Nest Climate Campus will provide a central community for Ceres members and supporters during Climate Week to learn, engage, and network with each other. The amenities at the Nest Climate Campus will enhance the participants’ experience and foster innovation in a dynamic environment dedicated to climate action.
