The Nature Conservancy announced the recent appointment of Anna Skoglund as a member of its global Board of Directors. “Creating a world in which both people and nature thrive requires bold innovation and collective investment in a sustainable future. With more than 25 years of investment banking experience and a leader in international finance, Anna Skoglund’s insights are sure to help bring TNC one step to closer that vision,” said Board Chair Senator William Frist. “I am thrilled to welcome Anna to our global Board of Directors,” said TNC CEO Jennifer Morris. “Anna’s financial expertise and global perspective will help us further scale and accelerate our work. And just as important, her demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) will help guide our efforts to fully embed DEI values in both our workplace and our conservation work.” Anna Skoglund is head of the Financial and Strategic Investors Group in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) at Goldman Sachs, which is responsible for covering private equity clients in Investment Banking. She is a member of the Partnership Committee, co-chair of the European Inclusion and Diversity Committee, co-head of the EMEA Women's Network and a managing director ally of the LGBTQ+ Network. Anna is also an investment champion for Launch With GS, Goldman Sachs’ $1 billion investment strategy grounded in the firm's data-driven thesis that diverse teams drive strong returns. She is a founding partner of the Human Practice Foundation and sits on the board of its UK Chapter. Anna earned a BA in International Business Administration from the European Business School in 1996.
