Treasury Wine Estates partners with Hello Sunshine for new wine line; Drop of Sunshine brand celebrates women's stories and industry contributions

We’re proud to announce the launch of our new line of premium wines, Drop of Sunshine, in partnership with Candle Media’s Hello Sunshine, a multi-channel media company founded by Reese Witherspoon that puts women at the centre of every story it creates, celebrates and discovers.

Inspired by Hello Sunshine’s mission to shine a light on where women are now and empower them to chart a new path forward, Drop of Sunshine is a toast to women, their connections, and the stories that bring them together.

Women have been shaping the wine industry since it began. Drop of Sunshine brightly reflects Treasury Wine Estates' (TWE) long standing commitment to women – all the way back to Mary Penfold. This commitment has been continually built upon and is evident today across TWE, through our winemakers, engineers, marketers, women in Supply and Finance, People & Culture, IT, Legal and so many more.

Drop of Sunshine is a global new-to-world brand. This is a brand that will bring women’s stories to life in an authentic and powerful way. Drop of Sunshine will debut at Hello Sunshine’s second annual Shine Away event in Los Angeles this weekend, on Saturday 5 October.

Sarah Harden, CEO of both Hello Sunshine and Candle Studios, Candle’s premium live action unit, shared her excitement about the partnership, saying, “We partnered with TWE's award-winning winemakers and global team to create a wine that brings women together so they can share their stories and create meaningful connections. Drop of Sunshine is the result of a true collaboration, created with care to inspire bright moments of celebration and togetherness.”

Through year-long partnerships with the storytellers and changemakers behind The Home Edit, Reese’s Book Club, The Hello Sunshine Collective, The Bright Side, and many beloved film, television, and music projects, Drop of Sunshine will have the support to celebrate and inspire women.

Drop of Sunshine launches with six varietal offerings: a California Brut Sparkling Rosé, Central Coast Chardonnay, and Central Coast Red Blend in the US and a Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc and Prosecco in Australia. Stylistically, Drop of Sunshine wines are crafted to be approachable, balanced, and versatile wines that let moments of connection shine with or without food.
