Delaware North unveils new menu items for American League Championship Series at Progressive Field; offerings include Wisconsin Cheesy Chili and Pretzacho Box

CLEVELAND (Oct. 16, 2024) – The Cleveland Guardians have made it to the American League Championship Series, extending baseball season in BelieveLand. Fans at Progressive Field will continue to have their pick of culinary specialties from foodservice partner Delaware North.

“We’re committed to crafting new food and drink options that capture the energy of the postseason,” said Tylor Mettler, Delaware North’s general manager at Progressive Field. “As we cheer on the Guardians, we’re fueling fans with hearty comfort food to help keep the momentum going.”

New specialty items for the American League Championship Series include:

  • Wisconsin Cheesy Chili: Hearty chili served with cheese curds, cheddar cheese and sour cream. Located at the Gluten-Free Stand near Section 164 (third base line).
  • Pretzacho Box: Giant Bavarian pretzel served with tortilla chips, jalapeño cheese sauce, red sauce, jalapeños, sour cream and scallions. Located at the Pretzacho Carts near Section 137 (first base line).
  • Garlic Bread Sloppy Joe: Ground beef made with warm spices and a touch of sweetness served with cheddar cheese, sour cream, scallions and potato sticks on a pub bun. Located at Brew Kettle near Section 160 (third base line).

The new items that Delaware North Sportservice created for the team’s American League Division Series run will also be available:

  • Knuckle Ball: An oversized Italian meatball “muffin” with house-made meatball in a puff pastry, topped with marinara, parmesan and pesto. Available at Fry Box at Section 119.
  • Triple Play Cheesesteak: Shaved beef, Cajun queso, mozzarella, Swiss cheese and sautéed onions. Available at Midwest Kitchen at Section 107.
  • Stuffed Hot & Brat: A footlong hot dog stuffed with a skinny brat wrapped in bacon, baked with bourbon barbecue sauce, and served with mac and cheese, buffalo hot sauce, pickled onion and scallions. Available at Ballpark Classics at Section 157.

Delaware North has been providing foodservice for Major League Baseball since 1930 and currently operates at 10 MLB ballparks, four NFL stadiums, eight NHL arenas, two NBA arenas and two locations in Major League Soccer. Outside of the U.S., Delaware North services venues such as Wembley Stadium, Emirates Stadium, London Stadium and Pride Park Stadium in the United Kingdom, along with Melbourne Cricket Ground (Australia) and Sky Stadium (New Zealand).
