Kaiser Permanente unveils 2025 Rose Parade float themed 'More Healthy Days for More Healthy Years'; float showcases healthy living activities from sunrise to moonset

PASADENA, Calif. — Kaiser Permanente has announced its 2025 Rose Parade® float theme, “More Healthy Days for More Healthy Years.” The theme represents Kaiser Permanente’s belief that everyone should have the opportunity to live their best, healthiest life every day. The float celebrates total health — body, mind, and spirit — and how Kaiser Permanente supports the health and well-being of its members and communities.

Kaiser Permanente’s 19th annual float entry embodies the 2025 Rose Parade presented by Honda theme, “Best Day Ever,” celebrating life’s best moments. The float symbolizes a day of healthy living, featuring a sun at one end and a moon at the other, with various healthy activities in between. The float includes depictions of nutritious foods, physical activity, and mental wellness for people of all ages and abilities.

The float also features Kaiser Permanente members, care teams, and community partners standing on and walking alongside it. Many have inspiring stories of how the “best day ever” is possible when physical, emotional, and mental health are aligned. Float participants will be announced in December.

Kaiser Permanente’s past float entries have received numerous awards, including the President Award (2024) for most outstanding use and presentation of flowers; the Theme Award (2022) for most outstanding presentation of the Rose Parade theme; the Wrigley Legacy Award (2020) for most outstanding display of floral presentation, float design, and entertainment; the Grand Marshal’s Trophy (2016); Judges’ Special Trophy for the most spectacular in showmanship and dramatic impact (2015); Theme Trophy for excellence in presenting the parade theme (2013); Lathrop K. Leishman Trophy for the most beautiful float entry from a noncommercial sponsor (2014, 2012); Director’s Trophy for most artistic merit in design and floral presentation (2011, 2008, 2006); Extraordinaire Trophy for the most spectacular float longer than 55 feet (2010); Tournament Special Trophy for exceptional merit in multiple classifications (2009); and President’s Trophy for most effective floral use and presentation (2007).
