A study carried out by C.Lab, Nestlé's research laboratory, points out that 80% of the mothers interviewed consider a product healthier when the percentage of cocoa in its composition is high. The survey heard 600 Brazilian women over 18 years old and who have children aged between four and 16 years old.

When asked about cocoa's most important benefits and nutrients, responses ranged from "providing more energy" (80%), "improving concentration" (47%) and "being antioxidants" (41%). The data show that the cereal segment further endorses the perception of consumers regarding the healthiness of cocoa, compared to other foods.
