Sodexo’s convenience business, InReach, has acquired Capitol Vending and Coffee for an undisclosed sum. The acquisition of the Austin, Texas-based Capitol Vending expands InReach’s service offerings in the Central Texas region. This marks the fifth acquisition by Sodexo’s InReach division in recent months. Earlier this year, the company purchased Five Star Food Services. “The acquisition of Capitol Vending and Coffee continues to propel Sodexo’s Food transformation strategy,” said Husein Kitabwalla, Sodexo North American CEO of food transformation. “Capitol Vending and Coffee aligns perfectly with our food strategy, complementing our multi-channel offerings, including micro markets, pantry services, office coffee, and vending.
