Sodexo has been awarded a national group purchasing organization (GPO) agreement with health care facilities alliance Premier Inc. Per the terms of the deal, Sodexo will offer its range of food and nutrition services at a pre-negotiated rate to Premier’s network of nearly 4,400 hospitals and 300,000 alternate sites. The new deal expands Sodexo’s previous contract with Premier to provide on-site facility management and other services. “We have enjoyed our longstanding relationship and contract with Premier for call center services, environmental services, facilities management, health care technology management, and patient transport,” said Molly Matthews, Sodexo North America CEO of health care and seniors. “We’re excited to expand our relationship by now offering tailored Food and Nutrition solutions to Premier members.
