Pet Palette Distribution, a Maryland-based national distributor of neighborhood pet products for the independent pet retailer community, has recently formed a partnership with GURU Pet Company, a Colorado-based pet toy manufacturer best known for developing products that challenge dogs’ minds, engage their natural instincts and inspire their spirit. The distributor will be carrying more than 50 of the brand’s toys, which range from treat holding puzzles to multi-flavored chew toys to interactive and scented plush, and more. Owners JJ and Amy Stone each have a decade of experience under their belts, inventing and developing products for some of the top toy brands in the industry. In 2022 they decided to go out on their own, this marked the beginnings of GURU Pet Company. Each toy that GURU develops is intentionally designed to be a solution to behavioral issues and natural instincts like chewing, foraging and puzzle solving. “We feel that Pet Palette Distribution is the perfect fit for representing our brand to indie retailers across the U.S.,” said Amy Stone, GURU Pet Company president. “We are excited for this partnership to get underway”. “GURU made waves at Global this year with their creative and innovative toy concepts and they are an awesome addition to our toy category.” said Megan Hulse, Pet Palette Distribution chief merchandising officer. “We can’t wait to see where their journey takes them and we are thrilled to play a part in it.”
