Corbion expands distribution partnership with IMCD to include Thailand, enhancing customer support and fortifying presence in APAC region; Corbion’s PURAC range of lactic acid ingredients and related products will be available through IMCD

Corbion, a leading global supplier of world-class ingredient solutions, announced the expansion of its partnership with IMCD, a global distribution partner and formulator of specialty chemicals and ingredients, to include Corbion products for the Food and Beverage market in Thailand, effective July 1, 2024. The strategic agreement builds on successful collaboration between the two companies in the Australia and New Zealand markets, which has delivered solid performance and sales growth. 

The appointment of IMCD as distribution partner in Thailand underscores Corbion’s commitment to delivering exceptional service and value to customers, and leverages IMCD's market expertise and complementary portfolio. Beginning in July, Corbion’s PURAC® range of lactic acid ingredients, and other lactates and derivatives manufactured by the company globally including its local plant in Rayong, Thailand, will now be supplied to Thai customers through IMCD.

Corbion operates its largest lactic acid manufacturing site in Rayong, Thailand. The company also has application labs in Singapore, while IMCD Thailand provides commercial and formulation services to the local market.
