Ineos highlights progress on Project ONE, which includes industrial plants and chemical complex

June 6, 2023 (press release) –

The Project ONE site is currently buzzing with activity. As many as 18 000 piles are needed to support the future industrial plants and related buildings of the new chemical complex. Screw piles were chosen to install these pile foundations.

With the screw technique, both noise and vibrations can be greatly reduced, causing less inconvenience than traditional piling or knocking piles into the ground. Moreover, the majority of the piles are soil displacement piles so less soil has to be excavated or moved. And that, in turn, is a plus for mobility.
